WWE Monday Night RAW Preview: March 19th, 2018

Ladies and gentlemen, with just a few hours remaining until the doors open at the American Airlines Center, we’re confident in saying that this is sure to be a stacked edition of WWE’s flagship show as we find ourselves just a few weeks away from WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Can you feel the excitement in the air?
The card is on the verge of being fully completed at this stage, and now, we’re gearing up for the final build as WWE attempts to push some of the bigger matches on the card. From bizarre matches to storyline advancement, there’s no end to the potential that tonight’s event in Dallas holds – and that’s the perfect way to be feeling with the showcase of the immortals being right around the corner.
So with all of that being said, and with the mixed tag team match hype continuing too, here’s our five-point preview for what could be a blockbuster edition of Monday Night Raw.

#5 The Deadman Rises?

One last ride
One last ride
For years we’ve been left to wonder whether or not The Undertaker and John Cena would face off on the grandest stage of them all, and it seems as if that dream is going to become a reality. Following the 16-time world champion’s promo last week, it’s starting to look more and more like The Phenom will be returning imminently to accept his New Orleans challenge.
With tonight’s show taking place in Taker’s home state of Texas it makes all the sense in the world for him to pop up, in a segment which will likely close the show. Both men have clearly been waiting a long time for this match to come to fruition, and tonight, we may finally see it get the green light in front of a capacity crowd in Dallas. Buckle up.

#4 Tag Team Clarity

Braun vs The World
Braun vs The World
Last week Braun Strowman did something that a handful of fans had been hoping he’d do for a while – and that’s entertain the possibility of going after the Tag Team Championships. The Monster Among Men won a battle royal to seemingly book his place at WrestleMania 34, although there’s been a great deal of contention both in and out of kayfabe from fans and superstars alike.
One way or another we’ll likely get a resolution to this situation tonight, which could either include the handicap title match being confirmed or Strowman being forced to find himself a partner. Either way, it looks like Braun is heading to Mania to challenge for Sheamus & Cesaro’s titles, and considering the superstars involved that’s something we should all be extremely excited about.

#3 Will Brock Show?

The world is waiting
The world is waiting
For weeks we’ve waited patiently to see whether or not The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar would grace us with his presence on Monday Night Raw, and so far, he’s failed to show up. Of course, this is all being done as a way to try and get Roman Reigns over heading into WrestleMania, and for the most part, it seems like it’s having some degree of success.
We’ve been promised that Lesnar will, in fact, be present tonight, although there’s a chance that they’re going to hold off on this all together until the go-home show. Both men certainly know how to build an atmosphere, and with Paul Heyman likely being in attendance regardless of Brock, the build for the Universal Championship match is getting interesting
